Licensing

How do I license & run Turbo Touch® competitions?

If you are interested in running a Turbo Touch® competition you’ll be pleased to know that Touch New Zealand have put together a licensing model to enable others to also be a part of this new business opportunity.

The goals of the licensing of Turbo Touch® are to:

Ensure no matter where someone plays Turbo Touch® they get the same game with rules, structure & experience.
Build a community to play in Turbo Touch® Nationals & Interclub competitions within the city. The venue will be moved around.
Provide the licensees with all marketing support & infrastructure needed to run a successful competition.
Work together with the licensees in a true partnership, both striving for the success of the game.

Touch New Zealand would grant the license to run the game of Turbo Touch® in their facilities under the following conditions:

The facilities being proposed for usage can accommodate the size required for the game area.

The rules are followed and not changed without consultation and agreement in writing from the Turbo Touch appointment staff member at TNZ

Only TNZ Turbo Touch certified Referees may officiate a game.

Additional Turbo Touch bibs and balls are to be purchased through Touch New Zealand.  Touch New Zealand will ensure they are provided at competitive market rates.

Competitions are Graded
Competitions have published draws and results (this technology can be provided by Touch New Zealand as part of the license if the licensee does not have their own).
Reporting that clearly shows the number of players and teams per night to calculate the licensing fee.
